  • You might be noticing that your child is finding things a little harder at the moment, whether that looks like big emotions, worries, withdrawal, or difficulty managing everyday situations. It can feel confusing or overwhelming trying to understand what they need.

At Dynamic Connections Therapy, play therapy is a gentle, child-led approach that helps children make sense of their world in a way that feels safe and natural to them. Through play, children are able to express themselves, build skills, and grow in confidence at their own pace.

Play therapy can support children who are:
    • Feeling anxious, worried, or overwhelmed
    • Experiencing big emotions or frequent meltdowns
    • Struggling with behaviour, transitions, or routines
    • Navigating grief, trauma, or family changes
    • Finding social skills, confidence, or friendships challenging

Through play, children can begin to:
    • Express feelings in a safe way
    • Build emotional regulation skills
    • Increase confidence and resilience
    • Strengthen problem-solving and coping skills
    • Improve relationships and communication

  • You might be feeling like things have become a bit heavy, confusing, or difficult to manage on your own. It could be emotions building up, stress increasing, or a sense that you need a space to talk things through and feel understood.

At Dynamic Connections Therapy, counselling offers a safe, supportive space to slow things down, reflect, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. We work with children, teens, and adults to explore emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen confidence in a way that feels grounded and supportive.

Children: A gentle space to explore big feelings, build coping skills, and develop emotional understanding and confidence in everyday life.

Teens: Support to navigate emotions, relationships, identity, and pressure, with space to talk things through and build practical coping strategies.

Adults: Space to reflect, process challenges, and build coping skills for stress, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.

  • You might be feeling unsure about how to support your child right now, or noticing that things at home feel more stressful or overwhelming than expected. It can be hard when you’re trying your best, but nothing seems to be making things feel easier or more connected.

At Dynamic Connections Therapy, family support offers a space to feel guided, supported, and more confident in navigating challenges together. We work alongside families to strengthen understanding, reduce stress, and build more connected and supportive relationships.

    With support, families can:
    • Feel more confident and supported in navigating challenges together
    • Manage stress and emotional load more effectively
    • Strengthen connection and communication within the family

  • You might be noticing that your child finds social situations, friendships, or group settings a little challenging, and you’re looking for extra support to help them feel more confident and connected.

At Dynamic Connections Therapy, our Social Skills Development Programs provide a safe, supportive, and neuroaffirming space for children to practise social interaction and build confidence at their own pace. Each program is designed to be developmentally appropriate and responsive to individual strengths and needs.

    • Build communication and conversation skills
